One Eight Kōbō is a design studio founded by two architects who began by studying how humans move through physical spaces, and carried that love for observation and stories into the digital world.

Kōbō means “workshop”, a place of making, refining, and improving through doing. That spirit defines how the studio works: thoughtful, hands-on, and always evolving.

“One Eight” traces back to 18th Street, where the idea for the studio first took shape during late-night conversations.

OUR FOUNDERS
